Lamb of God

July 1, 2023

2000 years ago, the Jewish people would sacrifice a lamb each year as a way to atone for their sins. Each family would have an unmarked, clean lamb for the priest to sacrifice. When Yeshua was about to begin His ministry, He went to His cousin who was preaching and baptizing. When John saw Him coming, he knew the time for the Messiah was at hand. He knew Jesus is the ultimate lamb, the One who would need to be sacrificed for all the world's sins - from that day to this and every day after. Yeshua was about to embark on a three-and-a-half year mission to share the #Truth and show His people, then the rest of us, who He really was.

Were it not for Yahweh's #Love, were it not for Yeshua's determination, there would be no #hope for us. Our lives would be pointless, and our eternity would be dark and terrifying. Thankfully, Our Creator loves us so much that He sent His one and only son to bear the sins of all people through all time. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice. He put Himself in our place so that we could be joined with Him forevermore in eternity. So if we put our #faith in Him, if we truly believe Yahweh allowed Yeshua to be crucified as an atonement for all the world, if we know in our hearts that Yeshua rose again after three days from His crucifixion, we are guaranteed a place in His Kingdom.

Felicia knows Yeshua. She knows Yahweh. She knows Our Father sent His son to save us. She trusted God with all her heart, soul, and mind. And it's this faith my wife had in Our God that brings me peace. As painful as it is waking each day without my beautiful bride by my side, the comfort lies in the truth of His Word: my wife is with Our Lord, praising His Holy Name, worshiping at His Feet, and feeling the full, unrestricted love of God as she dances in His Presence, being fully healed and whole, pain-free and no more tears.

Without the love of My Savior, I'd be lost. I'd be fully broken. I'd be wandering in a cold desert, looking for anything to fill the void left in my heart. Instead, I have a peace.

But, I miss you, my angel. Always. Forever. #Fiercely
