#Unchanged

This has been true for two thousand years. Well, honestly, it's been #true since before time because Yeshua is the #Word. And, in the beginning, was the Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word was God.

It's good to have this reminder, though, that Jesus is constant and unchanging. His #love for us has not diminished, even though our love for Him has.

Felicia knew Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. She knew He will never change. And she counted on His everlasting #grace and #mercy to carry her through her worst moments. She was a fighter. She overcame hundreds of obstacles. All because she kept her eyes on Him and #trusted in His #Truth.

Little did I know that 22 years of witnessing Felicia's unparalleled strength in managing her pain and suffering would prepare me to climb this million-mile mountain. As I stand on the edge of this boat, looking across the stormy lake that's partway up my mountain, listening for Yeshua's call to walk across the water to Him, I can feel Felicia slightly pressing on my back, softly urging me to take that first, real step onto the water.

I'll get there. I just need some more time...
