Numb…

Thank you, all, for your outpouring of love. It has been a horrible 24 hours and I know there will be many days of pain ahead. But, I also know I have a strong family and friend unit and I love and appreciate every one of y'all. These past 24 hours have been a numbing blur which no amount of food or company can dispell, but I will not turn either of those away because I will need to heal.

Without saying too much and out of respect for the family, I lost my beautiful angel Felicia yesterday, unexpectedly and suddenly. My world will never be the same, nor will our families. But, my world will always be better than what it was 22 years ago before we met. Felicia has taught me and loved me so much, my heart forgets how to beat, now.

But, I know that in God's loving Grace, and in Jesus' loving arms, I will climb this million-mile mountain. I know that with my faith in Him who created all things will carry me up this hill. I know that in Jesus' loving arms, I'll be able to find rest and comfort.

This is the one thing that I will NEVER wish on anyone. My heart is torn into a billion pieces. My mind is flooded with precious memories. My soul is wrapped in the Holy Spirit. But, my heart is still shattered.

I'll defeat this mountain one day. Until then, I'll need to remember, fondly, the 22 years of life and 19 years of marriage to the most incredible woman I will have ever known.

I miss you, Felicia. I love you. Forever.
