Philippians 2:7-8

June 30, 2023

When Yeshua started His ministry, He knew He only had a short time. The messages He taught and the actions He took were all centered around #love for and obedience to Yahweh, love for people. Then, when His ministry was finished, He laid down His life, without hesitation, for all of His Creation.

If you believe Jesus carried your #sins with Him on that #cross, if you believe He died then rose again 3 days later, if you believe He's alive and sitting at the right hand of Yahweh waiting for His #SecondComing, if you put your #faith and #trust in Yeshua, if you call Him your #friend, you will be rejoined with Him and all fellow #believers when God calls you home. What Yeshua did 2000 years ago will remain the singlemost important event in history. And if you truly trust Him and believe in Him, you will find #Glory and #Peace when your job here is finished.

This is what Felicia found on February 21. She found herself awash in a #love so deep, so powerful, so pure she probably became overwhelmed with #joy. I know she ran into Jesus' arms, screamed "I love you" and began worshipping Our God immediately. She loves Jesus. She loves God. And now she's dancing and singing in their full, incredible presence.

Knowing this brings me peace. Knowing this brings me comfort. Because Felicia was a sister-in-Christ to me, I know I will see her again when my day has come to depart this realm. This brings me comfort. But until then, I have to allow Yeshua to continue healing my shattered heart. I have to allow the Holy Spirit to continue lifting this immovable burden from my crushed soul. Even though I know my wife is healed and whole, my earthly heart still weeps for her...

I'm trying, Felicia, to continue my journey up this million-mile mountain. I'm trying to let you go and trust that I will be rejoined with you and all the others who preceded us. But, I'm so lonely. I miss your touch, my dear wife. I miss your kisses. I miss your laugh, your smile, your wit, your charm, your eyes... I miss you, my angel.

Always. Forever. #Fiercely
